Needless to say, the two found themselves back at the little league after their own playing days were over and found themselves as the best teammates for each other! They went on to have a team of their own in their FIVE children and came back to where it all began opening High Five Sports in 2017. The two have been coaching since 2005 with their oldest Maliah from T-Ball, to Elementary school, to Travel Ball. Coaching is where they found their passion and what they knew they would be doing even when their children grew passed the game. They even started their own softball organization The High Five Hornets with their youngest daughter Miyani coaching young softball players for a number of years. They coached for over a decade before opening High Five Sports and when presented with the opportunity, they knew what they had to do. Having the facility so close to their community and being able to give back to where it all began for them was a win win!
